Polychaete

Class of annelid worms that includes most of the marine segmented worms. They make up the most abundant and diverse group of worms.

Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs)

A group of industrial chemicals used in a variety of products; responsible for several episodes of ecological damage in coastal waters. PCBs were banned in 1979 due to their harmful effects to the environment and marine life.
